Big news for two Duet clients this week! We’re excited to share the news that Connecticut Children’s Hospital and Ohio State Wexner Medical Center were both named as winners of the 2020 eHealthcare Leadership Award for “Best Native Mobile App” at the 24th Annual Healthcare Internet Conference earlier this week.
Participants in the category included a number of renowned hospitals and health systems from across the U.S. whose native mobile apps were submitted for award consideration. Apps were evaluated by a collection of leading experts in the mobile healthcare technology field for the usability, branding, clarity of purpose, and consumer ratings of each app. Both Connecticut Children’s Hospital and Ohio State Wexner Medical Center’s apps are currently ranked with scores exceeding 4 out of 5 stars on the App Store.
We are absolutely ecstatic to see both hospitals receive some well-deserved recognition with this award win as we know first-hand how much hard work went into building each of them. Our team worked closely alongside both hospitals from inception to release, helping develop their own unique digital experiences. This means incorporating the right features into their mobile app that today’s patients want and need; such as EMR integration, Open Scheduling, Wayfinding, and enhanced Telehealth capabilities. We are proud to have played a significant role in the creation, design, and managed enhancements to these applications from their inception.
This recognition is not unfamiliar territory for us though–Duet Health has been building award-winning mobile apps in healthcare for 10 years and helped put our client’s care and expertise into the hands of over one million patients. We create technology that supports the features patients value—features that enable our clients to provide their patients with the exceptional patient care they need today while also preparing for the challenges of tomorrow.
